Rudraksha
1. I just learned about Rudraksha and its benefits and I am
very keen to give it a try, how do I begin?
Ans:
For a person new to Rudraksha, one must always begin with
a panch mukhi mala and wear it for 90 days. After 40 days,
one starts experiencing its benefits. By 90 days it gives
it fullest effect. Then later under the guidance of a knowledgable
person, one can proceed as per ones need.
2. If I wear a Rudraksha/ Rudraksha
mala, How do I recognize the changes it brings in my life
as it is beleived and preached?
Ans:
Wear a good quality rudraksha/ rudraksha mala for 40-90 days.
Before you begin make a note of the quality of your thoughts,
how compassionate and caring you are to others, how often
you lose your temper, your sharpness in decesion making, your
presence of mind. At the end of 90 days reexamine the above
points then quit wearing mala for 30 days, and at the end
of 30 days note down how you have been doing without the mala.
With the outcome of the graph you can judge yourself the benefits
of wearing Rudraksha/Rudraksha mala.
Note: To get best results chant the necessary mantras/slokas/strotras.
3. It has been said that through
Rudraksha one can achieve all and any goals, both spiritual
and materialistic. How far is it practically true and achievable?
Ans:
It is very muc practically true and achievable. It has been
mentioned in our purans so there is no room for any doubt
about that. But the problem lies in knowledge and understanding.
For example 13 mukhi Rudraksha is bestower of charm and wealth
of the highest order, but assuming that just by wearing 13
mukhi rudraksha, one will get wealth as much as Lord Indra
is unrealistic. but it has been said in our purans then how
could it be wrong??? Firstly 13 mukhi rudraksha or any rudraksha
for that matter has to be envoked by the necessary mantras/
slokas/strotras etc. Secondly the purity of mind is most important.
Rudraksha is a divine seed and it does not see anybodies GREED.
On the contarory it purifies the thoughts and thereby the
actions of the wearer. A true rudrakshadhari person will have
no worldly and materialisitc ambitions. And as far as charm
is concerned, 13 mukhi rudraksha or any rudraksha blesses
the wearer with NOBLE charm and character. So any prsemptions
and misconceptions regarding any rudraksha has to be cleared
and ruled out. As it usually happens that people try out mantra/tantra/rudraksha
etc for their self gains and when the concept fails to get
them their target, they criticize the system and not their
selfish violation of mind.
3.
Astrologically how do one wear rudraksha?
Ans:
Unlike how after careful analysis of the horoscope, gems are
suggested and no 2 gems of enemy planets are to be worn togather,
Rudraksha can be worn irrespective to the planetry relations...
Astrologically Rudraksha should be worn as per the lagna (2
beads of teh benefic planets of the lagna), Rashi (1 bead
of the the chandra rashi) and Nakshatra (2 beads of teh ruling
planet of natives nakshtra). For example Leo lagna, Kumbh
rashi, shatbhisha nakshtra, the native must wear 12 mukhi,
3 mukhi (Rudraksha of sun and mars), 7 mukhi (Rudraksha of
saturn) and two 8 mukhis (Rudraksha of planet rahu which rules
shatbhisha nakshatra) |
